INGLES
Looking at earthquake activity in June (and the month is not yet over), there have already been **48 magnitude 5.5 or greater earthquakes** worldwide, compared with **36 in May**. It has been a very active month, and further seismic activity is still possible before conditions begin to settle. Stay alert around all major fault lines, and pay close attention to deep earthquakes, as they can sometimes be followed by increased shallow seismic activity as tectonic stress is redistributed.

Following the devastating earthquake in Venezuela, which has resulted in numerous fatalities, our thoughts are with everyone affected. We hope more people will begin monitoring earthquake activity in the same way they check the weather. Keep an eye on seismic activity around the Pacific Ring of Fire and consider downloading earthquake alert apps, even if earthquakes occur thousands of miles away. Monitoring global seismic activity can help you understand when the Earth is experiencing periods of heightened unrest, especially if you live near an active fault line.

Being aware of current seismic activity can help you stay informed and better prepared if earthquake activity begins to increase. Earthquakes are part of a connected global system, and learning to monitor them is easier than many people realize.

Choose a free earthquake monitoring app and start following seismic activity around the world each day. Developing this awareness can help reduce fear, improve preparedness, and potentially save lives. By recognizing periods of increased seismic activity, you can be better prepared if an area begins experiencing an earthquake swarm or heightened unrest.

Although some researchers continue to investigate whether earthquakes may one day be forecast with greater accuracy, there is currently **no scientifically proven method** for reliably predicting when and where an earthquake will occur. For now, the best approach is to monitor seismic activity, observe global patterns, and stay informed about changes in earthquake frequency and intensity.

Earthquakes & Weather
Looks like we have heightened unrest this month first with the Philippines and now a 7.5 Venezuela and 6.9 Japan today. Also yesterday with California.

The ring of fire is at high unrest so please be on watch until things settle down.

Here is how the planet looks at its latest in the last 48 hours. Be on watch.
